Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good.  Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.  Titus 2: 3-5

Beth Moore's newest Bible study is Esther: It's Tough Being a Woman. Going up against heavyweights bent on her destruction, Esther trusted God and landed a blow that saved her people. The Old Testament story of Esther is a profile in courage and contains many modern parallels for today's woman. Esther's destiny can be yours as you know more deeply the God who is in your corner.

Core Values

  • Women are valuable to the church of Jesus Christ, and their spiritual gifts must be discovered, developed and shared.
  • Women possess the unique ability to minister to and encourage other women.
  • Christian women have a responsibility to initiate and nurture relationships with irreligious women.
  • Women must be fully discipled and equipped to have the greatest influence on their families, friends, workplaces, schools and communities.
  • We need women all all ages and every walk of life for fully developed women's ministries.

MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)
MOPS International exists to meet the needs of every mother of preschoolers.

MOPS is all about:

  • making connections
  • experiencing God's love through relationships and resources

Meetings are held the second Monday of the month, September through May from 6:30 - 8:30 pm.

MOPS Mentors

Calling all Mentors! Words cannot express the joy a mentor receives as she gains a relationship with the girls at her table. We all have stories to share with these young mothers. We laugh and we cry, share the good and the bad, the joys and the trials, the ups and the downs. But mostly a mentor shares her salvation of Jesus Christ and the love she has for Him. She expresses how vital that relationship is as she prays and grows with the girls in MOPS.

Edgewood Center

You have an opportunity to serve in this inner-city mission helping to feed the poor, clothe those in need and teach the community about the love of God.

Crafts

Do you crochet, knit, scrapbook, stamp, bead, sew, quilt or have another skill? Monthly meetings will be held for you to bring unfinished projects or come to learn something new. Bring your friends along for fun and fellowship.

Good Books & Good Friends

Friends Book Klub meets at Barnes and Noble on Fairfield Rd. in Beavercreek. Women in the group cover a wide range of ages, and the books we read, primarily fiction but also some non-fiction, also cover a wide range of topics and storylines. Therefore, discussion is always engaging, thought-provoking and lively, and the coffee is free! After the meeting we usually head to the bookstore cafe for extended informal fellowship over dessert and more freewheeling conversation. Join us for a cup and conversation, book in hand.

Prayer

Check the website for times and locations of weekly prayer times.

Bible Studies

Join other women of all ages to get into God's word to see how it applies to your daily life. Check the bulletin or the website for current studies.

Other Activities & Conferences

Check the website for schedules of upcoming activities locally and statewide.
