As the needs of our community and congregation continue to grow,
we realize we need to better strive to share the love of Jesus Christ
with all people. The Pastoral Staff, Church Cabinet, Deacons and
Sunday School Leadership Teams have closely examined this issue
for many months and have prayerfully sought the Lord’s guidance on
this re-structuring decision. The Church Cabinet unanimously
confirmed this plan, sensing the Lord’s affirmation on this matter.
This is an exciting opportunity the Lord has brought before us as a
church family to meet those very needs. Please prayerfully join us
as we follow even closer to Jesus in working to enhance the format of our Worship and
Sunday Morning Bible Study opportunities. This is an effort to more effectively connect
with and better minister to each age group that the Lord has blessed us with here at First
Baptist Kettering.
Believing God has given us a wonderful opportunity as a cross-generational church family
(i.e. we minister to all ages), we have the privilege of providing ministries that meet
individuals where they are, helping them deepen their love and commitment to Jesus
Christ. We are committed to sharing the love of Jesus with every man, woman, boy and
girl that the Lord entrusts to our care here in our church. Our desire is to create
opportunities that are the most conducive to engaging individuals in a vibrant and intimate
relationship with God in all aspects of their lives while in Worship, Bible Study and Service
in Ministry.
Consider all the incredible opportunities that are before our church
family as we reach the Miami Valley with the love of Jesus! We desire
to connect with all people in an effort to see them discover the
life-changing and eternal rewards of having a personal relationship
with Jesus Christ. Join us in enhancing our ministries here at First
Baptist Kettering as we reach out with the love of God to a lost and dying world!
Our desire is to enhance your weekly Worship experience. We will
be structuring the styles of our morning services to best minister
to the entire church family and community. This will allow us to
offer a wider variety of styles that best meets participants where
they are and draws them closer to the Savior!

9:30 AM – Traditional Worship Service Style
11:00 AM – Contemporary Worship Service Style
6:00 PM – Blended Worship Service Style
Bible Study is critically important as each of us learns to discover the
deep truths of God in His Word. We are blessed to have a dynamic
Sunday School/Bible Study Ministry here at First Baptist Kettering.
